So for the past few days, I’ve been emailing book influencers from Tiktok and YouTube. I’ve had a pretty good response so far, and they’ve all been very nice to talk to, and very encouraging. And surprisingly, they seem very grateful that I would take the time to reach out to them.
No, no, no, that’s not how this works. I’m supposed to be the grateful one! And I am! Immensely!
Anyway, as I was packing those boxes, I found myself really enjoying the process — building the box, selecting the book, wrapping it, cushioning it, sealing the box, all of it.
And I realized something — if one day I become as successful as I’m working to be right now, I won’t always be able to handle this part of the work. So for now, I’m going to enjoy this part of the process.
Because one day, I may be too busy, have too many meetings, deadlines, or other obligations and responsibilities. And I’m sure some days I’ll wish I could just go pack some boxes.
